Each image should be well framed, well focused, and have a well-managed dynamic range that mimics what the human eye can see. Some objects in this category are better captured with a telescope serving as the camera lens, so the requirements allow for this. Skyscape images capture a scene the way it looks to the eye of the imager – either a naked-eye view (aka wide field) or a very low-power view as through binoculars. The emphasis is on "skyscape" images: these are generally wide-field pictures that capture an astronomical object in the evening, dawn (or nighttime) sky that also include the landscape in the frame. The purpose of this certificate is to introduce beginners to many types of astronomical imaging. Submissions will be accepted from RASC members only. This Monopoly strategy is intended to help casual gamers increase their winning ratio with some useful tips. The goal of the game is to develop a reasonably good board that’s in your favour and in this Monopoly strategy guide you will learn some of the best tips that you can apply straight away to your next game. Monopoly is a game full of opportunities and if you just roll the die hoping to land on that particularly sweet square that stares at you since the start of the game, you’re playing it wrong. It’s true that Monopoly is a game where luck plays an important role and where a pair of dice can actually decide on where you land, but it’s also true that decision-making plays a huge role. This is not an easy game and you shouldn’t just play it passively. ![]() In that situation, you just wanna play an “easy” game without bothering about strategies or listening to your cousin’s deep explanation of some new fancy board games he just got (in my family most of the time THAT cousin is me).Īnd that is why you keep losing. It’s that kind of game that everyone knows, more or less, so it’s quick to get you started right after the last dessert and when everyone’s belly is exploding. ![]() Playing Monopoly at Christmas or other big festivities is a tradition for a lot of families. How many times did you lose at this game because you didn’t have a Monopoly strategy up your sleeves? Personally, too many. ![]() ![]() ![]() I felt it pushing me to blaze through its levels as quickly as I used to race through the original Quake in 1996, and I'd love nothing. The Strafe soundtrack is composed by ToyTree. Posted: 6:00 am Strafe wants you to go fast. The developers have released a trailer highlighting their involved violence. The game offers a wide variety of features, such as procedural levels, roguelike progression, and an extremely detailed and involved gore system. Spending over two years in development, the game finally released on May 9th, 2017. After launching a Kickstarter on January 20th, 2015, Strafe ended its campaign on February 19th, 2015 with $207,847 of its $185,096 goal. ![]() Strafe was initially shown as a tech demo for a procedural, retro-themed first person shooter. The game keeps score in gallons of blood spilled by enemies, and the survival mode has global unlocks based off how much blood is spilled, such as a work bench to trade in scrap, and extra weapons. Strafe (officially stylized as STRAFE) is a retro-inspired First-Person Shooter with fast-paced run-and-gun gameplay inspired by the shooters of the 1990's (such as Doom and Quake ), as well as procedurally generated levels and other Roguelike gameplay elements. The player is challenged to survive ten waves of enemies across various rooms. Strafe is a game overflowing with 90s references, hidden weapons and pixellated gore. Strafe also has an additional game mode called MURDERZONE.EXE that is an arcade survival mode. Enemies also drop scrap or money, two currencies which can be traded in at workbenches or shops respectively for items. The various levels also have various disposable secondary weapons lying around with set, limited ammo, intended more for either specific uses or just to conserve primary ammunition. In addition to the teleporter parts, the player can find upgrades for their primary weapon in the forms of minor stat upgrades, as well as more involved upgrades that completely change the weapon's primary or secondary firing modes. The player can find various parts to teleporters in between worlds allowing them to get a jump start on their next run. There are four different environments, the first of which have three levels, with the last being two final levels. Fighting their way through three levels of the ship, the player then arrives at level 2-1. This takes the player to the crashed ship, The Icarus, which is procedurally generated with a combination of pre-constructed chunks. After choosing one (or none, if they're feeling adventurous), they make their way to the teleporter in the back of the ship. Strafe's primary mode of play has the player start on their ship and selecting from three primary weapons, a shotgun, a machine gun, or a railgun. Gameplay Strafe's graphics offer a hyper realistic version of its concept art. The player's weapon selection is limited to just their primary weapon and a handful of disposable secondaries they pick up and drop after they run out of ammo. Gameplay is much more defensive than the older shooters, such as Quake, that it's themed after. ![]() Strafe is a retro-styled roguelike shooter, advertising itself as, "the fastest, bloodiest, deadliest, most adjective-abusing, action-packed first-person shooter of 1996!" The game is much more centered on its roguelike aspects than its shooter ones. ![]() ![]() ![]() Padmanabhan Ramnarayan, MD Alvin Richards-Belle, BSc Laura Drikite, MSc Michelle Saull, BSc Izabella Orzechowska, MSc Robert Darnell, MA Zia Sadique, PhD Julie Lester, BA Kevin P. Every good project manager becomes an integral part of the process, working figuratively and literally alongside others. There is no industry in which project managers will be found just sitting at their desks, removed from the project and his or her team. Like any PM, you will execute and monitor developments, but the planning never ends with construction project management so the collaboration shouldn’t either. You’ll often need to work with them throughout the timeline to develop and refine plans as delays and equipment failures arise. While your contractors should be trusted, they still need focused direction to coordinate their efforts with each other. You will be working with seasoned professionals, often with decades of experience in electrical engineering, plumbing, scaffolding, and carpentry. This remains true during the actual build. Even slight adjustments can affect the overall plan and timeline. If you encounter unexpected environmental problems during the pre-construction phase, the design may need to change. Anything can and usually will happen at a construction site. The design, pre-construction, and procurement stages of a construction project each require extensive planning - and each may need to be revised as the next stage unfolds. Planning may be the second of the Project Management Institute’s five phases of project management, but the most successful construction project managers always start their planning long before actual construction begins, and continue revising and developing plans until the project is completed and signed off. ![]() That means more time for you to spend at the construction site meeting contractors to coordinate the next stage of work. A good CWM tool also allows you to relay these changes to other managers and accounting offices in real-time, providing a nearly email-free method of project management. By syncing discussions, attachments, and calendars, you can monitor news, budgets, and scheduling changes as they occur. One of the simplest ways to create a flow of communication is a collaborative work management (CWM) tool. This transparency will make the process smoother and will reduce the number of emails and phone calls whenever a problem arises. Good news and bad news are equally important when preparing and implementing a build, so you need to establish a flow of communication with everyone on the ground - and every stakeholder and supplier in the plan. Create a flow of communication.Īmong the most important elements of all project management, communication is essential to every phase of any construction project. These five strategies go beyond project management basics to prepare you for the intricacies of the role and direct your efforts toward success. It’s how you implement those tools that counts. Fortunately, construction management has become more technical with the development of new tools to simplify many processes. To ensure each responsibility is met and every architect, contractor, and supplier remains on schedule and budget, effective construction project managers tend to utilize tools and strategies that streamline their work. According to The Construction Management Association of America, construction project managers average around 120 responsibilities, which means they have to be more strategic and thoughtful in working with a slew of moving parts and constant change. Construction project management diverges from a typical project management role by demanding and incorporating extensive knowledge of the construction industry, a unique and complicated field. It certainly does follow the traditional five phases of project management which are initiation, planning, execution, performance and monitoring, and closure/completion, but that is where the similarities end. ![]() At first glance, you’d be forgiven for thinking that construction project management takes the same skill set as any other project management field. ![]() ![]() Bulu Monster allows the user to become a monster trainer on Bulu Island. ![]() Monsters are the main theme of the exciting new app from Sigma Game. Heck, the fact that it can be played offline should be reason enough for most to try it. Bulu Monster a monster collecting game in Android. Freemium or no, it hits most of the right notes and hits them very well. The music may not have received as much attention as the visuals and the Capture Balls may be a gamble, but Bulu Monster is still an unexpectedly great monster-capturing game. Even severely wounded early game monsters tend to be a waste of a Capture Ball unless players are willing to shell out for the more advanced models. The capture system also feels unbalanced. The player must battle monsters and capture them to be the best trainer. The tinny-sounding and repetitive music is a pretty big offender and contradicts the stellar visuals. Bulu Monster is a story mode that takes players on an adventure through a fantasy world. That’s right, if a player wants to check in on their monsters while they’re on the subway or would like to explore for a bit while they’re otherwise minus an Internet connection, they can totally do that.īulu Monster does need a little polish in a few areas, though. Perhaps even more amazing is the fact that the game can be played offline. These might just be a series of 2D characters trading blows with one another, but the spectacle involved with even the most basic attack is definitely a sight to behold. The battle animations are even more noteworthy. ![]() The monsters and other characters look nice and sharp, and the monster designs are actually quite clever. The most immediately impressive aspect of Bulu Monster is the way it’s presented. The capture system will also feel familiar as it requires players to try and snatch weakened beasts using special spherical containers that come in limited supply and have various success rates. Battles utilize a familiar ability system that allows a set number of uses for each technique, however the only way for these uses to replenish is through time or the monster gaining a new level. ![]() Players create their account, wander around various maps using a simple waypoint and search system, and collect and battle monsters. Regardless of whether this is actually the case with Bulu Monster (I don't know because I wasn't there), I can’t help but imagine the team cracking smiles throughout its development.īulu Monster is essentially another free-to-play Pokemonlike. There are often a number of almost imperceptible little touches that come out such as just a little more detail in the animations, or a surprisingly moving soundtrack that almost seems too good. It’s usually pretty easy to tell when a developer genuinely loves their game. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Please contact us if you have any questions about a comment or the Guidelines.
